It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice E. Hightower (Odessa, Delaware), who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Jackson; and his son Mark Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Sue Guyman of Philadelphia, Maureen Schruby of Mt. Holly and Stephen Hightower (Christine Hightower) of Riverside; his grandchildren, Kristin Hightower of Riverside and Harrison Schruby of Mt. Holly; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew, Steven and Kim Neely; and his brother James Hightower of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also survived by numerous friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Faith Baptist Church, 1575 Bryn Zion Rd., Smyrna, Delaware 19977.
