With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Lawrence Newell of Ocean View, Delaware, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lee and Mary Clare Appel Newell; and his brothers, Christopher and Gregory Newell. He is survived by: his son Walter N. Newell; his stepchildren, John, James Mansfield and Beverly Kelly; his former wife Marjorie Louise Newell; and his siblings, Eva Newell, Daniel Newell and Mary Carol Jeppi (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
