With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert R. Burkhardt of Ocean View, Delaware, born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on June 10, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Burkhardt and Barbara Wiley; his grandson Camden Bohager; and the mother of his children Nadia Burkhardt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou C. Burkhardt (Steigerwald); his children, Christina Brentzel (Joe) and Rick Burkhardt (Stacey); his stepchildren, Lisa Langston, Tom Bohager (Lorie), Mary Hametz (Richard Pultz), David Bohager (Shari) and Michelle Zuromski (Shane); and his grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Noah, Ethan, Max, Kelcie, Sarah, Ashley, Brycen, Justin, Jared, Brandon, Amanda, Alexandra, Jonathan and Emily. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
