He was predeceased by: his former wives, Susan J. and Arline B.; his siblings, William Grier Murray, Jr., Betty Murray, Addie Murray and Nancy Slaughter; and his son Arthur Guy Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Jr. (Richie), Patrick Jr. (Helen), Reynolds Jr. (Kathy) and Diane Osborne (Charles); and his stepson Ben Culver (Darl). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
