He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Hopgood; his stepfather Albert Hopgood; and his daughter Paula. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brandenburg of Ocean View, DE; his daughters, Kerry Blizzard of Ocean View, DE and Diana Moren (Lee) of Livingston, TX; his siblings, Joan Bump, Jean Riley, Joy McGuire and Andrew Hopgood; his grandchildren, Jean Paul (Deb), Krystal, Rebecca (David), Qaitlyn, Joshua, Michelle (Jake) and Jonathan; and his pet Rusty.
