It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Buchan Steele of Ocean View, Delaware, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph L Frye Sr. and Esther V. Frye (Shearer); and her sister Sally Kubicki of Ocean View, DE.. She is survived by: her husband George Daniel Steele of Ocean View, DE; her siblings, Jane Matincheck and Ralph Frye Jr. of Latrobe, PA; her half-sister Karen Werner; her children, Kim Buchan of Harrisburg, PA, Georgia Redmon (Michael) of Selbyville, DE, Sandra Arndt (John) of Hershey, PA, George T. Buchan Jr. (Tonia) of Goodview, VA and Thomas Buchan (Lynnette) of Hershey, PA; and her stepchildren, Dawn (Steele), Parsons (Danny) of Millsboro, DE and Daniel Steele of Millsboro, DE.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patty's memory to a charity of your choice, or to the Humane Society, in recognition of her deep love for animals and the many pets she cared for over the years.
