She is survived by: her siblings, Regenia Kaseluris (Martz) and Charles Thomas Martz; her aunt Ina Claire Hicks; her sons, George W. Towson Jr. and Michael J. Towson (Lauren); her grandchildren, Mckenzie L. Towson and Nathan J. Towson; and her nieces and nephews, Vangeli Kaseluris, Chad Martz, James W. Towson Jr. (Jill), Hilarie Martz and Dawn C. Kingsley (Robert).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Mary's name to the cancer foundation.
