She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lathbury and Marella Ann Lynch Lathbury; her husband George W. Knox; her daughter Judith D. Warrington; her sons-in-law, William B. Warrington, Jr. and Charles P. Townsend, Jr.; and her sisters, Mabel Clogg and Hazel Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Townsend, Roger Knox (Sue) and Arlene Layton (Bruce). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great grandchildren.
The family has requested that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution, to kindly consider donating, in her name, to the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company.
