It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry E. Smith of Ocean View, Delaware, born in Spring City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey T. Smith and Ruth E. Smith; and his son Stephen Smith (Angelika). He is survived by: his uncles, Larry, Smitty and Wheel of Fortune; his sisters, Ruth Hall, Myrtle Burkhart and Lois Machukas; his wife Nancy Smith; his daughter Melissa Dougherty (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Jordan Smith and Thomas Dougherty. He is also survived by extended family members including nieces, nephews.
