We bid farewell to Joseph F. Gallagher of Ocean View, Delaware, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Gallagher, William Gallagher and Ann Boyce. He is survived by: his wife Florence E. Gallagher (Tomlinson); his children, Susan Weiswasser, Kimberly Fardone, John Gallagher (Micaela) and Bill Gallagher (Colleen); his grandchildren, Jerome, Christina, Jessica, Liam, Brynn, John John, Dylan, Michael and Dakota; and his siblings, Michael Gallagher and Marie Leneghan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (8100 Colfax St, Philadelphia, PA 19136). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Jack's name to St. Ann's Catholic Church Choir, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930.
