He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charles Carey and Celia Righter. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Patricia Carey (Porter); his children, James Andrew Carey of Ocean View, DE, Patricia Ann Hill of Mt. Airy, MD and Kevin Patrick Carey (Kathleen) of Mt. Airy, MD; and his grandchildren, Timothy Kurak, Brennan Carey and Brielle Carey.
