He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Heite and Mabel Shockley; his wife Marjorie Heite; his daughter Dorothy Andrews; and his brothers, Samuel Francis Heite and James Lloyd Heite.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward of Ocean View and Kenneth (Rita) of Middletown.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in his name to the Mason Dixon VFW Post 7234 located at 29265 Marshey Hope Way, Ocean View, Delaware 19970.
