He was predeceased by: his brother Gerald Layton. He is survived by: his wife Claire Layton (Evans); his children, Lauren Wood (Gordon) and Brice I. Layton, Jr. (Katie); his grandchildren, Annmarie Harmon (Cooper), Elizabeth Wood, Allison Wood, Sarah Wood, Tyler Layton and Tori Layton; his great grandchild Evelyn Harmon; and his sister-in-law Jane Layton.
