She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Mundle and Marion Mundle (Cribbin); her sibling Jessie Donohoe; her husband John "Jack" P. Carey; and her son John P. Carey, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Thomas Mundle; her children, Colleen Merrell (Scott), Kevin Carey (Mary) and Timothy Carey; and her grandchildren, John, William Carey, Emily and Connor Merrell. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and their children.
