We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2024, at the age of 83, William John Higgins Jr. of Newark, Delaware, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Marie Higgins; and his parents, William Higgins and Rachel Higgins. He is survived by: his children, Christopher and Kathleen; his daughter-in-law Janine; and his grandchild Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (200 E Main St, Newark, DE 19711). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Church (200 E Main St, Newark, DE 19711).
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Tunnel to Towers Organization or The Wounded Warrior Project is requested.
