He is survived by: his son Russell Shiflett (Paula) of Virginia Beach, VA; his godchildren, Shirley Elaine Ryan, Norman Bower Jr. and Jamie Bower of Delaware; his grandson Mason Kai Shiflett of Virginia Beach, VA; and his siblings, Mary Lancaster of Yuma, AZ, Rose Simpson-Walstrum of Elkton, MD, Nancy Lee of Clayton, DE, Charlotte Hitchens (Robert) of Elkton, MD and James Shiflett of Elkton, MD..
