Comegys of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 79. As Wayne departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wayne leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Comegys (Collins) and William Comegys; and his brother Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Comegys (Morgan); and his son William Comegys of Newark.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
