With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Walter Albert Hafner Jr. of Newark, Delaware, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Albert Hafner and Anna Eugenia Hafner; his wife Anne Hafner (McCabe); his son Robert J. Hafner; and his siblings, Richard, Doris, Louise, Jeannie, John, Marianne, Amy Louise and Raymond.
He is survived by: his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Barbara Hafner of Newark; and his grandchildren, Seth, Karianne and Sarah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808).
