It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lois Mundy of Newark, Delaware, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hubert Johnson and Carrie Johnson; her children, Veronica Mundy-Wilson, Roosevelt Mundy, Jr. (Rosie) and Vernette Mundy; her husband Roosevelt Mundy, Sr.; her grandchildren, Scott Wilson, Fallon Wilson-Therezo and Stephani Wilson-Finney; her great grandchildren, Makyal Wilson, Kaileah Wilson, Sean Finney, Jr., Stephan Finney, Hendrix Therezo and Sofia Finney; her siblings, Gloria Shaw and Kenneth Johnson (Drena) of Detroit Michigan; her goddaughter Lisa Grinnage; and her friend Opal Sterett. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
