With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas J. Fortune of Newark, Delaware, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fortune and Catherine Fortune (Kennedy); and his siblings, Paul Fortune, Mary Gadzouris and Diane Schell.

He is survived by: his significant other Kathleen M. Policastro; and his brother-in-law Denny Schell.
