He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hantzandreou and Katerina Hantzandreou (Yfantis). He is survived by: his child Teddy; his wife Lambrini "Libby" Hantzandreou (Klitsikas); his children, George Hantzandreou (Diane) and Katerina Hantzandreou; his granddaughters, Alexandra and Josephine Hantzandreou; and his siblings, John Hantzandreou, Andrew Hantzandreou and Litsa Hantzopoulos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Teddy may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
