In loving memory of Shyuan Hsia of Newark, Delaware, who departed this world on August 8, 2024 at the age of 83. Shyuan leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Shyuan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shyuan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Te-I Hsia and Hsu Hsia. She is survived by: her sisters, Chi Chao (Tze) and Jeou Kwan (C. M.); her nieces, Lynn Chao, Faye Chao and Mildred Kwan; and her great-nieces, Elyse and Claire Meder. She is also survived by her family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Shyuan's memory to the Chinese American Community Center.
