It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Netta of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy J. McCarthy and Katherine McCarthy (Doherty); her brother Tim McCarthy, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Joseph Netta and Catherine Netta (Kennedy); and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Netta, Jr., Jim Morrow, Joyce Netta and Lorraine Netta.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Netta; her son Rob Netta of Las Vegas, NV; her siblings, Lisa Tusi (Vince) of Lewes, DE, Larry McCarthy (Donna) of Lincoln, DE, Amy Gooding (Chuck) of Milton, DE and Dennis McCarthy (Maureen) of Wilmington, DE; her siblings-in-law, Michael Netta (Jen) of New Castle, DE, Sam Scheib of Newark, DE, Marianne Morrow of Wilmington, DE and Kathy Netta of Wilmington, DE.; and her daughter-in-law Sarah Netta. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews.
