He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherrell T. Myrick Sr. and Mary Leila Myrick (Barber); his parents-in-law, Margaret Wang (Larry) and Stanley Mackey (Millie); and his siblings-in-law, Lois Mackey Neese Cuadrado and Ken Minor (Glenda Myrick).
He is survived by: his wife Laura Mackey; his children, Lara Tatman (Kris Wempa), David Myrick and Kevin Myrick; his granddaughter Danielle; his siblings, Jerry Myrick (Cheryl), John Myrick (Tammy), Jane Myrick and Becky Heard (Kenneth); and his sister-in-law Linda Minor (Cathey Eves). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
