It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth V. Clauss of Newark, Delaware, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kiefer and Verna Kiefer (Eichelberger); her husband Richard L. Clauss; her siblings, Lorraine Grasso, Loretta Hottenstein, Althea Williamson and Paul Kiefer; and her daughter-in-law Christine Clauss.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Bailey (Craig) and David Clauss; her siblings, Pauline Fehnel, Dorothy Daniels and Donald Kiefer; her granddaughters, Jennie George (Bill) and Kathryn Salvucci (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Karli, Billy, Ryan, Nicholas and Christian. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
