With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell D. Protas of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith Protas (Barbour) and Hillman Protas; and his sister Linda Haley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Protas (Folks); his sons, Sean Protas (Jean Kearney) of Morton, PA and Mark Protas (Shannon) of Newark; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Lacey and Tilly; and his nephew Brandon Haley.
