He was predeceased by: his parents, Okondu Mowete and Beatrice Mowete (Azike); and his brothers, Taiwo and Kehinde. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Meg" Onochie Mowete; and his sons, Ijeoma Mowete, Nnamdi Mowete and Nkem Mokedi. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
