It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Jay Sherr of Newark, Delaware, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules A. Sherr and Zelda Sherr; his brother Sheldon M. Sherr; and his former wife Carol Berger Sherr. He is survived by: his children, Aimee Ferrari (Greg), Neil Sherr, Troy Whitaker, Todd Whitaker (Lisa), Barbara "Barbie" Erle (Robert), Loyd "Tommy" Whitaker and Evelyn "Evie" Thompson; his great grandchild Nola; and also, Denise Dillon, Renai Salvatore, Chris Thompson, Margaret Whitaker and Lisa Young. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
