With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Marie Kochendorfer of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on January 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John DiVincenzo and Amalia DiVincenzo (Falconi); her husband Richard C. Kochendorfer; and her siblings, Vincentta Troise, Bernardo DiVincenzo, Armando DiVincenzo and Madeline DeRocili.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Kochendorfer (Chrissie), Linda Thompson (Marty) and Donna Kochendorfer; her grandchildren, Marty Thompson III, Tyler Kochendorfer, Ella Kochendorfer and Julia Angell; her daughter-in-law Andrea Kochendorfer; her great grandchild Marty Thompson IV; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth DiVincenzo and Marianne Prokop (Freddy).
