He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Bland Seely and Richard Clark Seely; and his stepfather Woodrow Welch. He is survived by: his former wives, Bonnie Milspaw and Carole Shaw; his significant other Brenda Toomey; his children, Richard S. Seely (Claire), Kathryn Lynn Unruh (Jim) and Valorie Dawn Peduto (Damian); his grandchildren, Erin Ellerman (Tyler), Anne Seely, Jay Unruh, Collin Unruh, Katey Unruh and Sabrina Peduto; his great grandchild Orson Ellerman; and his grandchildren, Frank Welch, Barbara Pettyjohn, Paul Seely and Margaret Seely.
