He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Elizabeth (Hunt) and Larus Ranford Burgess; and his brother Robert Burgess. He is survived by: his sons, John Hunt and Carl Foulds Burgess (Alona); and his grandchildren, Evan, Andrew (Amina), Paul, Nicholas and Alexandra. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
