He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gays and Dorothy Gays (Vierheilig). He is survived by: his wife Susan Hilton Gays; his sons, Christopher (Kimberlee) and Robert; his brother Wann (Irene); his grandchildren, Camryn and Ben; and his parents-in-law, Bill Hilton (Colleen), Margaret Cloutier (Jim) and Peter Hess (Mary). He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
