He was predeceased by: his father Grover S. Bonsall Jr.; his grandparents, Nancy (McSwain), Grover S. Bonsall Sr. (Pete), Helen (Greegs) and George P. Gibison Jr.; his aunt N. Lynette Lane; his uncles, Dale, John and Ted; his cousin Paul E. Blevins; and his pets, Lady and Sierra.
He is survived by: his mother Nora Bonsall (Gibison); his sisters, Amber, Kathryn and Nancy Ratkiewicz (Kevin); his aunts, Cynthia, Helen and Marci; his great-aunt Teresa Greegs (Gallagher); and his uncles, Gary, George and Jerry.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Richard's memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Inc. (RMHC) to support displaced ill and injured children and their families impacted by the crisis in Ukraine.
