She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lorie G. Steele (Willis) and Richard J. Steele, Sr.; her cousin Kay Roser; her husband James P.; her children, Jeffrey D. Atwell and Gail E. Kracyla (Atwell); her great grandchildren, Remi and Mila; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Jimenez, Richard J. Steele, Jr. (Cecilia) and Polly Anna Brown. She was also cherished by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, friends.
Burial will be private due to COVID-19 restrictions in Townsend Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in the name of Peggy Atwell to the Middletown Historical Society/Peach Festival, P.O. Box 567, Middletown, DE 19709.
