She was predeceased by: her parents, Lockwood Tingle and Phyllis Tingle (Derrickson); and her sister Mary Bailey. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Simmons and Derrick Tingle; and her partner Pearlis.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home & Crematorium (211 Washington St, Millsboro, DE 19966). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church Cemetery (10543 Assateague Rd, Berlin, MD 21811).
