She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Joseph Cunane Jr.; her parents, Joseph Duffy and Doris Duffy; her children, Dawn Cunane (James), Nona Van Deusen (Billy), Joe Cunane (Jen) and Christine Cunane; her grandchildren, Grace, Jacob, Noah, Collin, Celia, Maci, Ava, Stalena, Holland, Herbie, Lilly, Alden and Lincoln; her great grandchild Levi; her siblings, Beth Zimmerman (Chris), Joseph Duffy (Shirley) and Laurene Leifer; her friends, Cheryl Congo and Betty Lewis; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy, Tommy and Bobby Cunane. She was also cherished by mother and doting grandmother, raising four children.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (15 Gender Rd, Newark, DE 19713). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nona's name may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
