With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy B. Essex of Newark, Delaware, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Warren R. Brackett and Caroline G. Brackett (Gotshall). She is survived by : her husband Jeffery A. Essex; her daughters, Stephanie Hayhurst (Stephen) of Martinsburg, WV, Holly Essex (Nick) of Newark, DE and Kimberly Danz (Tim) of Middletown, DE; her grandchildren, Sunshine Bennett, Sage Hayhurst, Sequoia Hayhurst, Cassidy Essex, Alyssa Danz, Cedar Hayhurst, Stella Hayhurst and Aubrey Danz; and her sister Carol Koria (Bill) of Townsend, DE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
