She was predeceased by: her parents, Brance Retkovis and Rhoda Retkovis (Gandy); her husband Joseph DeRicco; her sons, Joseph, Daniel, William and Steven; and her brother Joseph Retkovis.
She is survived by: her son John (Shirley); her grandchildren, William, Jr., Daniel, John Jr., Joshua, Rachel, Michelle, Brittany and Casey; her great grandchildren, Ralph and Brance; her siblings, John, Rita Retkovis and Joan Perogine; and her brother-in-law Anthony Caira.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Parish (3000 Videre Dr, Wilmington, DE 19808). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Ann's memory can be made to Resurrection Parish.
