It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Alice (Lucas) Lutes (Newark, Delaware), born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father B. Franklin Lucas; and her husband Michael L. Lutes, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Mary Lucas (Janda); her children, Cynthia Peden (Michael) of Hockessin, DE, Michael Lutes Jr. (Jennifer) of Hockessin, DE, David Lutes (Laure) of Wilmington, DE, Deborah Lutes of Bel Air, MD and Mark Lutes (Melissa) of Newark, DE; and her grandchildren, Sean Peden (Erin), Marleigh Peden, Madeline Lutes, Grant Lutes, Delaney Lutes, Benjamin Lutes, Gannon Lutes, Lucas Lutes, Peyton Lutes and Blake Lutes.
