With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois A. Jackson of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on October 5, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morano and Florence Morano (Young); her son I. John Harkins, IV; her siblings, James Morano (Dorothy), Rose Cox (Charles), Florence DiGiacoma (John), Betty Smidt (Fred), Margaret Klosowski (Ed) and Joan DalGesso (Pete); and her sweetheart Ed Bittel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Mast (Dean) and Lois Harkins; her grandchildren, John David, Kelly, Michael, Stan, Rachel, Tessie, Norene, Karissa, Dean, Jr., Christopher, Berna and Bora; and her daughter-in-law Perihan Harkins. She is also survived by her 29 great-grandchildren; her 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society and directed to Holy Angels Church at the address listed above.
