He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth "Betty" Frace and William "Bill" Frace; his brother George Ingram; and his aunts, Alberta Cook and Norma Johnson.

He is survived by: his spouse Jeffrey Smith; his pets, Harris and Hazel; his sister Diane Berg (Guy); his nephew Guy Eric Berg; and his niece Rachael Berg.
