He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred O'Brien and Nettie Victory O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Joan H. Ripley O'Brien; his sons, Michael O'Brien (Jennifer) and David O'Brien (Heather); his grandchildren, Connor, Jared (Emily), Carter, Caroline, Joshua and Eliza; and his great grandchildren, Alice and Aurora. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
