She is survived by: her husband Robert Oakes; her children, Eileen Mele (Dante), Linda Grabowski, Theresa Thompson, Paul Dougherty and Maureen Henderson (Duane); the father of her children Edward Dougherty; her grandchildren, Shawn Dougherty (Danielle), Eric Mele (Katy), Nicholas Mele (Jessica), Lauren Grabowski, Brianna Thompson (David Sorrell), Brandon Thompson, Jillian Buchhalter (Bernard), Ryan Henderson, Robert Grabowski, Anthony Dougherty, Nicholas Dougherty, Evan Henderson, Altair Dube, Nicholas Oakes, Dalton Oakes, Dylan Oakes, Nevaeh Oakes and Norah Oakes; her great grandchildren, Quinn, June, Max, Grayson, Kash, Roman, Greyson, Nolan and Benjamin; her siblings, Dennis McCarthy, Sharon McCarthy and Diane McCarthy; and also, Nancy Oakes (Bill Dube), Kevin Oakes and Jeff Oakes (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
