She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd William "Bill" Cover, Jr.; and her son Kevin. She is survived by: her children, Lloyd William "Bill" Cover III, Jean Cook, Karen Baker, Fred Cover, Shirell Wilson and Dale Cover. She is also survived by Her family includes eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (2033 Graves Rd, Hockessin, DE 19707).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Joyce's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
