It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Kyritsis of Newark, Delaware, born in Newport, Delaware, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Mary Kyritsis (Vihos); his brothers, John Kyritsis (Evelyn) and Nicholas Kyritsis (Lois); his grandson Niko Kyritsis; his stepson Robin Thomas; and the mother of his children JoAnn Crossan Kyritsis.
He is survived by: his children, Marianne Kyritsis Stewart (Kenny) of Clayton and Andrew Kyritsis of Hockessin; his grandchildren, Lanie Robin Schmidt (Kristian) of Lewes, Jay Thomas (Kristin) of Wilmington and Maxx Kyritsis (Allison) of Hockessin; and his siblings, George Kyritsis, Helen Kyritsis Leounes (Tom) and Catherine Kyritsis Graham (Alton). He is also survived by step-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
