He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. VanDerburgh, and Inez VanDerburgh, Sr. (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Ellen VanDerburgh (Busch); his children, John VanDerburgh, III (Renee), Karl VanDerburgh (Lora), Debbie VanVeldhuizen (Jay) and Tina Baskette (David); his stepchildren, Lynn Daniels and Karen Loucks (Bill); his grandchildren, Jane Chandler, John VanDerburgh IV, Ashlyn VanDerburgh, Josh VanVeldhuizen, Kristina Bartholomew, Jeff, Tom Daniels, Andrew and Ryan Loucks; and his great grandchildren, William, Vivien VanVeldhuizen and Bronson Bartholomew.
