We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2024, at the age of 83, Joan M. Mayer of Newark, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joan M. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan M. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wolhar and Doris Wolhar (Taylor); her husband Ronald P. Mayer; and her brother Richard Wolhar. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Mayer Capiro, Adam C. Mayer (Amy) and Vincent P. Mayer. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
