With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Matthews Parr of Newark, Delaware, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Albert Matthews and Isobel Strachan Matthews; and her sister Sandra Jean Matthews. She is survived by: her daughters, Yvonne Newman (Aidan MacKerracher) of Evergreen, CO and Audra Bensinger of Bear, DE; her grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna Bensinger and Jude Mackerracher; her sister Martha Bailey; her niece Ellen Bailey; her nephews, Matthew and Andrew Bailey; her cousins, Mary Bennett of Hunt, NY, Leslie Knaup (CO), Daniel Matthews (WA), Steven Matthews (NY) and Barbara Matthews (NY); and her extended family Hilda McLeod (NY).
