It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Howard Whitesel Jr. (Newark, Delaware), born in Petersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 4, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Howard Whitesel Sr. and Emma-Jean Whitesel (Longenecker); his wife Donna L. Whitesel (Sharpe); his siblings, Dennis L. Whitesel (Patti) and Nancy R. Hunziker; his children, Kimberly A. Gennusa (Anthony) and James H. Whitesel III (Ellen); his grandchildren, Erika L. (Gennusa), Christie (Ben), Jessica L. (Gennusa), Davis (Robert), Hunter Whitesel and Logan Whitesel; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Memphis, Blakely Christie, Cooper and Carter Davis.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jim's name to Leeds Church, 1579 Blueball Road, Elkton, MD, 21921 Attention: Edith Racine.
