It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marie (Dixon) Althouse of Newark, Delaware, born in Millville, New Jersey, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Dixon (Hayes); and her sister Louise Hazzard. She is survived by: her father Charles Dixon, Sr.; her husband Michael Althouse; her daughters, Stephanie Simmers and Heather Mitchell; her granddaughters, Aaliyah Hinton and Lillie Mitchell; her brothers, Richard, Charles Jr. (Fae) and John Dixon (Beverly); and her brother-in-law Daryl Althouse. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
